Overview

Dr. Jones performs the latest surgical techniques, including laser cataract surgery with premium IOLs and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). He performs all surgeries at American Surgery Center, and you’ll meet him before any procedure. 

Dr. Jones and his wife, Dr. Maria Isabel Triana, own and run the practice together. As a physician-owned practice, decisions about your care are made by your doctors, not a corporate parent.

Dr. Jones’ interest in glaucoma is personal as he has multiple family members with the disease. Despite its reputation as being and “old person’s disease”, it can actually affect any age group and any ethnicity.

Dr. Jones was born in Gretna, Louisiana, grew up in Buras, Louisiana, and graduated as Valedictorian of his class.

Dr. Jones enjoys travel, USTA league tennis, lifting weights, and dancing salsa and merengue with his wife, Dr. Triana. They enjoy spending time with their family. A few more facts:
